CESO's participation at the Quebec Social Forum

On August 23rd to 26th of this year, CESO participated, with a booth, in the Quebec Social Forum which was held in Montreal.

This event attracted almost 5,000 people and proved to be an excellent occasion for CESO to present its services to the public. In the space of a few days, approximately 300 activities were proposed to those who believe in a better world and wish to work together towards a more democratic and united society.

Given CESO’s values, such as ethics and integrity, volunteering, the sharing of knowledge, respect and leadership, and the fact that CESO is working to attain the Millennium Development Goals, our participation fit perfectly into the forum’s mission.

For two days, employees and volunteer advisers manned a booth highlighting CESO’s International and National programs, including the SME-Youth program.

CESO would like to thank Jean-Louis Castonguay, Benoît Bouchard, Martial Dansereau and André Joyal who proved to be excellent ambassadors for our organization.

Numerous people stopped by our kiosk, most of whom showed great interest in CESO’s programs. Many showed interest as well in becoming volunteer advisers.

CESO’s participation in this type of event helps promote and put a spotlight on volunteering services.
